Robert Bindloss is an enthusiastic painter of landscapes and topographical scenes, motivated by his wide travels and enthuisiasm for foreign places.

Born in Lincolnshire in 1939, he studied art at Stockport College and Manchester (now MMU). He uses fairly traditional materials but in novel and innovative ways to produce a radiant sense of light and the open air.
